Message from Dept. of Revenue

December 3, 2018

Well, that was exciting. Hope everyone is managing. Department of Revenue has reached out and here is their message:

"This is Kelly Mazzei, the excise tax manager for the state. I hope everyone is safe and well after the massive earthquake we had in Anchorage. We understand that the earthquake happened on the last day of the month, when tax payments were due. The State Offices were closed soon after, and that included the closure of the cash drop box. State Offices will be closed on Monday as well. If cultivators tried to make their tax payments on Friday, but couldn’t, we will work with them and be assured we will not assess late penalties and we understand the nature of this unusual disaster. As soon as we know that the drop box will open, we will send an email to the cultivators. Stay safe!"

That is verbatim from the State.

As soon as I have word that the drop box is open i will post it. You will probably get a notification ahead of me posting. WATCH YOUR EMAIL AND MAKE SURE YOU ARE GETTING THE REVENUE EMAILS!

Be safe out there.
